Tekron Warranty Statement

The below updated Warranty Statement supersedes all previous statements and applies to all Tekron products sold and are still within the agreed warranty period.
Tekron International Ltd (Tekron) warrants for 10 years* from the date of shipment (the Warranty Period) that the product supplied with this warranty statement (the Product) will be free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is personal to the first buyer of the Product (Customer) and is not transferable.
Excluded from this warranty is software used to manage the Tekron devices and the firmware embedded in these devices. The Tekron End User License Agreement stipulates conditions pertaining to the Tekron software and firmware, and allows for a 90-day limited warranty from the date of purchase of the software license.
If the Customer experiences a problem with the Product and cannot resolve the problem by phone with Tekron Technical Support, a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) will be issued. The Customer is then responsible for returning the Product to Tekron, freight prepaid, together with the RMA. A warranty claim must be received by Tekron within the Warranty Period.
Tekron products carry security labels which are used to indicate if the unit has been opened or tampered with. Opening or tampering with any Tekron product without authorisation will automatically void the units warranty.
On verification of a defect Tekron will, at its option: (1) refund the price paid by the Customer for the Product; (2) repair the Product and return it to the Customer; or (3) send the Customer a replacement Product.
Tekron is not liable for loss or damage caused by normal wear and tear or catastrophe, fault or negligence of any user, improper or unauthorised use of the Product, or use of the Product in a manner for which it was not designed.
Nor is Tekron liable for loss or damage caused by: improper transport, storage or installation, exposure to lightning or other environmental conditions outside those for which the Product is designed, or the operation of any system (including satellites) to which the Product is connected.
No warranty is given in respect of any accessory not carrying the Tekron brand name. In this case, warranties are limited to those provided by the original manufacturer of the accessory. Examples of accessories are antennas, cables, etc.
Except for the above warranty, Tekron gives no representations or warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the Product.
In no event will Tekron be responsible to the Customer or any other person in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damage or loss suffered by the Customer or any other person.
*Excludes Rubidium Reference Modules, the N1 Time Server & IRIG-B Analyzer which are 12 months and any OEM/ODM Solutions. The GridTime™ 3000 GNSS Time Server comes with 3 years warranty, with the option to extend up to 10 years.
